Amazon approach for Deliveroo revealed

Amazon has made two preliminary approaches for Deliveroo as the food delivery company is circled by Uber. Deliveroo has raised hundreds of millions of pounds in investment and is valued at about $2billion. It has held early-stage talks with Uber, the taxi app, but Amazon is understood to have made two approaches with a view to an acquisition, one within the last year.
