GP denies 75 sexual offence charges
A GP sexually assaulted 20 female patients at his surgery during unnecessary breast and vaginal examinations, a court heard.
Dr Manish Shah, 48, allegedly carried out the assaults at the Mawney Medical Centre in Romford, Essex, between June 2009 and July 2013.
One of the alleged victims was aged just 15, it is claimed.
But the GP insists he only carried out appropriate examinations.
Dr Shah, of Romford, denies 75 counts of a sexual nature and the trial is expected to last four months.
