Posters are ‘hate crime’
A FEMINIST group has been accused of a hate crime after it put up a billboard giving the Oxford English Dictionary definition of a woman as “an adult human female”.
The advertisement for Standing For Women, a campaign group set up to protect women’s safety, was branded “transphobic” after it was erected before the Labour Party conference in Liverpool. It was taken down on Monday night, a move the group branded “misogynistic” and contributing to “a war on women”.
Merseyside Police are currently investigating three complaints about similarly “transphobic” stickers that appeared around the city stating “women don’t have penises”.
