The 6Music DJ Gemma Cairney presents a new series of programmes in which British artists are paired with musicians from other parts of the worlds for mutually enlighteni­ng collaborat­ive music projects. In this episode, Mobo-nominated spoken word artist and musician Kojey Radical travels to Ghana, a country that he hasn’t visited since he was 12 years old. He explores the heritage of the Ghanaian diaspora and collaborat­es in Accra with Kyekyeku, a musician who sees himself as a social chronicler of contempora­ry Africa.

Former economic adviser to President Mandela and vice president at the World Bank in the run up to the 2008 financial crisis, Professor Ian Goldin examines how the crash has since changed the world. Tonight is the first episode of an in-depth five-part series, beginning with a look at the origins of the crash and how it has affected our trust in authoritie­s and experts. Some of those concerned are contributo­rs to the series, including Joseph Stiglitz and Jeffrey Sachs, as well as a former Lehman Brothers employee.
