It was so good to see Paul Casey rededicate himself and refocus his energy to capture the Valspar Championship this year. After rejoining the European Tour, Paul made no secret of the fact that he wanted to be on Thomas’s

team in Paris. With his uber-confident demeanour Casey will be a highly effective team member.

Strengths

Has played well all year and has clearly made his year-end goal of playing this week. At 41, Paul will be a rookie’s dream partner.

Weaknesses

My only concern is that he can get too much disassociation between his upper and lower body, leading to the occasional block and hook.
