Leeky blinder

Paul Rochester, above, from Seaham, Co Durham, with his world record-winning leek, which weighs 23.6lb, at the Canna UK National Giant Vegetables Championship. The event starts today at the Malvern Autumn Show at the Three Counties Showground and will see competitors showcase their heaviest and longest vegetables in 31 classes including marrows, left, beetroots and runner beans.
