Supercar owners bin ugly number plates

-

Supercar drivers are flouting the law by removing their number plates, which they believe spoil the look of their vehicles, it has been claimed.

Registration plates on vehicles are mandatory in the UK and a failure to display them can lead to a fine. But some supercar owners have been spotted driving vehicles, worth up to £200,000, without plates.

One witness said: “There are Ferraris and Lamborghinis without plates which drive through the streets with impunity. Apparently the owners take off the registration plates because they are ugly and ruin their image.”
