Value judgment

A work by Wassily Kandinsky, the Russian abstract artist, titled On the Theme of the Last Judgement, could fetch an estimated £27 million when it goes under the hammer at Sotheby’s New York Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale on Nov 12. The auction also includes works by Monet, Magritte, Cézanne, Signac, Renoir, Chagall and Pissarro.
