Television journalist, 20, murdered in Bulgaria

A television journalist has been murdered in Bulgaria, prosecutors said yesterday, with the case drawing international condemnation.

The body of Viktoria Marinova, 20, was found on Saturday in a park in the northern town of Ruse, Georgy Georgiev, the regional prosecutor, said. He said prosecutors were looking at personal leads and those linked to her job. Ms Marinova is the latest of a number of European journalists to be killed in the last year.
