 Toni Collette and Steven Mackintosh’s committed performances have helped to maintain the credibility of this (rather ripe) melodrama all the way to tonight’s final episode. As the series ends, we see Joy (Collette) taking a leap in the dark, and her children reconsidering their own futures.
