Wall Street plunges amid tech stock sell-off

Wall Street suffered its biggest fall since February last night as a sell-off in technology giants left the benchmark Dow Jones index nursing a 831.8 point decline. The US blue chip index dropped 3.2pc to end at 25,598.7, while the wider S&P 500 index fell 3.3pc to 2,785.68.
