Strictly judge Revel Horwood attacks host Tess as ‘dull’

-

THE questions asked by Tess Daly are “dull”, said Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood last night.

Revel Horwood, 53, hit out at the show’s co-host Ms Daly as he reportedly made a series of unflattering comments about his co-stars at the launch of his new book.

He is said to have told an audience in Oxford that he tends to “avoid” her questions, adding that he prefers not to answer them. He then added: “If there is anyone here from the press I did not say that. I am BBC. I only have 20 secs to decide what to say about the dance.”

Revel Horwood also apparently labelled Bruno Tonioli an “attention seeker” who drives him “nuts” by constantly “dancing across the desk or falling off his chair”.

Speaking on the first night of the book launch, Revel Horwood also questioned Mr Tonioli’s generosity, The Sun reported. He said that the Italian, who reportedly earns up to £100,000 more than him, was “saturated” with money at the moment.

He said: “He is not particularly generous like Len [Goodman] with the cash. He is sort of saturated at the moment. That is all he has done now for 15 years which is to hold paddles with ‘one to ten’ on them.”

Revel Horwood is also reported to have made indiscreet remarks about other Strictly colleagues, including Shirley Ballas and Darcey Bussell.
