The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra, Gamel Abdul Nasser Avenue.

Mr. Shaun Croasdale was received by The Queen today when Her Majesty decorated him with the Royal Victorian Medal (Gold).

Afterwards Mr. David Westwood was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited United Kingdom Border Force Officers and Ghanaian Border Guard Unit Officers at Kotoka Internatio­nal Airport, Accra.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon called upon The Asantehene (Ruler of the Kingdom of Ashanti) and Lady Julia Osei Tutu at Manhiya Palace, Kumasi, and attended a Durbar.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Kumasi Market.

The Prince of Wales subsequent­ly visited a cocoa farm at Kona.

The Prince of Wales, accompanie­d by The Duchess of Cornwall, later inaugurate­d The Prince of Wales Park at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
