Alleged hacker fights for return of his computers

An accused hacker has begun a legal battle to try and recover his seized computers.

Lauri Love, who allegedly stole data from US agencies in 2012-13, wants his property back after his extradition to America was blocked last year.

The 34-year-old, who has Asperger’s syndrome, has not been charged with any offence in the UK but the National Crime Agency told Hendon magistrates there was an ongoing investigation.

Love, of Suffolk, will receive a ruling on the case at a hearing on Feb 19.
