UN grain at risk of rotting in Yemen

The UN special envoy to Yemen has warned it urgently needs access to grain stores in Hodeidah as food is “at risk of rotting”.

World Food Programme stores there contain enough to feed 3.7million people for a month but they have been inaccessible for more than five months due to the civil war, Martin Griffiths said.
