The Duke of York was represente­d by Major General Sir Evelyn Webb-carter.

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Member, the Incorporat­ion of Coopers of Glasgow, this morning presented The Earl of Wessex Awards at the Trades Hall, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Eva Bolander, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Commonweal­th Games Federation, this afternoon attended the European Indoor Athletics Championsh­ips at Glasgow Emirates Arena, 1000 London Road, Glasgow.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, afterwards visited St Andrew’s Roman Catholic Secondary School, 47 Torphin Crescent, Glasgow.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later visited the High School of Glasgow, 637 Crow Road, Glasgow.

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, this afternoon visited the Mobile Force Reserve and the Adventure Training Team in the United Nations Protected Area.

His Royal Highness this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Cyprus.

Captain Alexander Potter was in attendance.
