After finding gold, Wayne goes to fetch his partner’s fiancée from Seattle – only to find her married to someone else. So he returns with Angel (Capucine), a prostitute, instead. Inevitably, our hero falls for the lovely lady. Stewart Granger co-stars.

Hotel Transylvan­ia 3: A Monster Vacation (2018)

If you think the phrase “Adam Sandler comedy” is an oxymoron, the

Hotel Transylvan­ia films might come as a surprise. Voicing a bubbly Count Dracula, the most irritating man in comedy is actually rather endearing. His daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez) takes him on a cruise where he falls for the ship’s captain. Kevin James and Steve Buscemi lend their voices too.

Rocky III (1982) ITV4, 11.15PM ★★★

Stallone is once more in front of and behind the camera in this third instalment of the boxing series. Old rival Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) becomes Rocky’s new trainer after the Italian Stallion takes a pounding from the vicious Clubber Lang (Mr T). One sun-soaked sequence features Rocky and Creed frolicking on a beach and embracing in vests. Meanwhile, Hulk Hogan plays wrestler Thunderlip­s.
