Mrs Lynn Hall was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty decorated her with the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver).

The Earl of Wessex, Court Assistant, the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, today attended Election Court and Lunch at Mercers’ Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London EC2.

His Royal Highness, Member of the Court of Assistants, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashe­rs, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, today visited Royal Air Force Wittering, Peterborou­gh, and opened the Centenary Play Park at the Station, and was received by Mr Richard Barnwell (Vice Lord-lieutenant of Cambridges­hire).

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the Life of Jill Dando at the Royal Society, Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Associatio­n, afterwards attended a Dinner at Boisdale Restaurant, Cabot Place West, London E14.

The Princess Royal this morning named the UK Fisheries Vessel Kirkella at Greenwich Pier, London SE10, and was received by Colonel Jane Davies (Vice Lord-lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, the British Horse Society this afternoon attended the Riding School National Championsh­ips at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex, Willoughby, Rugby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Warwickshi­re (Mr Timothy Cox).
