Onesavings slide pinned on loans

Onesavings Bank said it had been hit by a mortgage price war and continuing Brexit uncertainty, sending shares 5pc lower to 337.8p. Pre-tax profit rose 6pc while its loan book jumped 10pc, but the challenger bank cautioned that it will tighten its lending criteria due to the “macroeconomic outlook”.
