sir – What happens to all these tents (report, August 28) after being deserted at music festivals?

They could be collected (cleaned if necessary), stored and resold to festival-goers at future events. It could be a lucrative business, especially if the tenters knew they could buy tents on site and avoid carrying them in the first place.
