The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represente­d by the Right Reverend David Conner (Dean of Windsor) at the Memorial Service for the Very Reverend Patrick Mitchell (formerly Dean of Windsor) which was held in Wells Cathedral, Somerset, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represente­d by Mrs Anne Maw.

The Duke of York was represente­d by Miss Charlotte Manley.

The Princess Royal was represente­d by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright, RN.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represente­d by Mr Nicholas Turnbull.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represente­d by the Reverend Canon Paul Wright.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs Tamar Beruchashv­ili at 20 St George’s Square, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquish­ing her appointmen­t as Ambassador from Georgia to the Court of St James’s.
