Harry and Meghan reveal their next steps
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are developing plans to run emotional support groups, a multimedia educational empire, and even launch a wellbeing website in a new non-profit organisation called Archewell. The Sussexes have drawn up proposals for an ambitious range of projects under the name Archewell, derived from the Greek word for “source of action” and the inspiration behind the name of their baby son, Archie Mountbattenwindsor.
A trademark application for Archewell, filed on March 3, shows the Sussexes are considering plans for: MEDIA – Developing and sharing printed educational and training materials, classes, seminars, conferences, workshops and retreats covering a variety of topics. Hosting events for cultural, sporting, health, mental health and entertainment purposes. Giving awards to others, and creating work across a range of media. CHARITY – promoting awareness of a range of causes and community service projects. Matching volunteers with organisations, promoting and developing marketing campaigns for other charities and providing a website with “content relating to philanthropy, volunteer and career opportunities”.
WELL-BEING – Providing a website and associated services with information “in the field of nutrition (inset below), general health and mental health”. SUPPORT – Organising support groups for persons in need, along with emotional counselling and emotional support services. Providing case management services and sharing relevant information.
