Arsenal fan stabbed ‘for looking at his killer’

An Arsenal fan was stabbed to death at a west London tube station after his killer believed he was “looking at him” across the tracks, a court heard.

Tashan Daniel, 20, was waiting to board a train in Hillingdon with Treyone Campbell to watch Arsenal play at the Emirates Stadium last September when they were confronted by two strangers, the Old Bailey was told. Mr Daniel was fatally stabbed by Alex Lanning, 22, while Jonathan Camille, 19, had a fight with Mr Campbell, it was claimed. Mr Lanning, of Uxbridge, admits manslaughter but denies murder. Mr Camille, of Fulham, denies murder and manslaughter. The trial continues.
