Levison Wood stalker admits to harassment
LEVISON WOOD, the television explorer and documentary-maker, was left “constantly looking over his shoulder” during a threemonth harassment campaign by a medical doctor.
Fiza Jabeen, 36, from Harborne in Birmingham, obsessively contacted the former paratrooper, originally from Staffordshire, on social media despite being handed a restraining order after she contacted his parents and an ex-partner.
On June 9, Jabeen was made the subject of a restraining order banning her from contacting him but she breached the order only a month later after attending Mr Wood’s home in Surrey on July 10.
Jabeen admitted one offence of harassment and an offence of stalking at Westminster magistrates’ court on Tuesday.
District Judge Nicholas Rimmer remanded her into custody ahead of her sentencing at Kingston Crown Court on a date yet to be set.
