ALL CHANGE URGENT MEASURES

-

Italy The Italian government tightened the country’s anti-virus measures on Sunday, ordering restaurants, cafes and bars to close at 6pm each night. Gyms, swimming pools, theatres and cinemas were also closed.

Wearing face masks outdoors is already compulsory, except for people doing exercise such as running or cycling.

In the region of Lazio, curfews have been implemented from 11pm to 5am, with no ban on travelling between regions as yet.

Germany Under new restrictions from Monday, people can only go out in public with their own household and one other household. Fitness studios, discos, cinemas, theatres, opera houses and concert venues will close.

Shops can remain open with restrictions. Restaurants can offer takeaways.

Brothels, swimming pools, cosmetic and tattoo studios and massage parlours must all close, but physiotherapy services and hairdressers will be able to stay open.

France The new measures announced last night come into force tomorrow, and will mean people have to stay in their homes except to buy essential goods, seek medical attention, or for their daily one hour of exercise.

People will still be allowed to go to work if their employer deems it impossible for them to work from home, and most schools will remain open.

Non-essential shops, bars and restaurants will close. Details to be announced today.

Spain On Sunday Spain was placed under a state of emergency with a nationwide curfew between 11pm and 6am, although regions are permitted to shift those times an hour in either direction. Regions have the power to limit gatherings, and most have introduced a “rule of six”.

Six regions have closed their borders to non-essential traffic, and close to 400 districts and towns are also under perimeter lockdowns.

Face masks are compulsory in all public places in Spain.
