The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investitur­e at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Haymarket Metro Station, Newcastle upon Tyne, to mark the Fortieth Anniversar­y of the Tyne and Wear Metro and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mrs Susan Winfield).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Discovery Museum, Blandford Square, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, subsequent­ly visited The Prince’s Trust Cheryl’s Trust Centre, 53-57 Blandford Square.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited J. Barbour and Sons Limited, South Shields, Jarrow.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, this afternoon visited the Royal British Legion Poppy Factory, 20 Petersham Road, Richmond, and was received by Colonel Jane Davis (Vice Lord-lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Guild of St Bride, this evening attended a Journalist­s’ Commemorat­ive Service in St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, London EC4.

ST JAMES’S PALACE November 9th

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited United Kingdom Health Security Agency, 61 Colindale Avenue, London NW9, to mark the Centenary of the National Collection of Type Cultures, and was received by Mr Martin Russell (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Commandant-in-chief (Youth), St John Ambulance, later attended a Reception for Young Achievers at the Priory Church of the Order of St John, St John’s Square, London EC1, and was received by Mr Michael Messenger (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Colonel-inchief, The King’s Royal Hussars, this evening attended a Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Kent, Patron, the London Philharmon­ic Orchestra, this morning received Miss Elena Dubinets upon assuming her appointmen­t as Artistic Director. Lady Robey (Chairman of the Board of Directors) was present.
