A DRUG-FUELLED knifeman who embarked on a fatal stabbing spree was caught on CCTV carrying out his attacks.

Antonio Tibere, 25, went on a 10-minute rampage in Handsworth, Birmingham three days before Christmas last year, then live streamed himself on Facebook and told people watching: “I will kill anyone who comes across me.”

He knifed to death one man in the attack and left two other people with life-changing injuries.

Newly released CCTV footage shows him walking up to his first victim, a 26-year-old woman, on Soho Road just after 3am on Dec 22 2022 after she asked him for a cigarette.

He is seen lunging at her with an 8in blade while clutching a can in his other hand.

She survived after managing to sprint across the street away from her attacker.

Seven minutes later, Tibere fatally stabbed Krystian Debski, described by his family as a “loving father”.

Tibere stabbed Mr Debski in the chest with such force that it penetrated the 35-year-old’s rib and cut the pulmonary artery, causing him to collapse to the ground.

Thirty seconds later, Tibere attacked his final victim, a 50-year-old man.

Armed police arrived at the scene 15 minutes after the first attack.

Police bodycam footage shows Tibere being bundled to the ground, where he is handcuffed next to the blood-stained knife.

An officer is heard telling his colleague on the radio: “It’s an eight-inch blade and it’s covered in blood.”

Tibere, of Wattville Road, West Bromwich, pleaded guilty to murder and admitted two charges of attempted murder at Woolwich Crown Court.

He also admitted possessing a bladed article and possessing cocaine.

Last week, he was jailed for life and ordered to spend at least 30 years behind bars.

The court heard that psychiatrists concluded Tibere had suffered an acute psychotic episode after drinking vodka and taking cocaine during a 48-hour period, causing him to hear voices in his head.

Det Insp Nick Barnes, who headed the investigation, said: “This was a series of vicious and unprovoked attacks on innocent members of the public.

“Tragically Mr Debski lost his life as a result of being stabbed. Two other people also suffered life-changing injuries.

“The family of Mr Debski are still coming to terms with the appalling events from Dec 22 last year.

“They are finding it difficult to comprehend through the sheer randomness of the attack.

“Although this kind of random attack is rare it is yet another devastating example of the consequences of carrying knives in public places.”
