Ms Angela Macro was received by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.

Ms Joanne Mcphail was received by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner to the Gabonese Republic.

Dr Alastair Mcphail was also received by His Majesty.

Mr Alastair Long was received in audience by The King and kissed hands upon his appointment as His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Mrs Long was also received by His Majesty.

Mrs Alison Thorpe was received by The King upon her appointment as British High Commissioner-designate to the Republic of Rwanda.

Mr Reuben Thorpe was also received by His Majesty.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

ST JAMES’S PALACE

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon opened Tideway’s Chelsea Quay, Chelsea Embankment, London SW3, and was received by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this evening attended the Seventieth Anniversary of Re-hallowing Service at St Olave’s Church, 8 Hart Street, London EC3, followed by a Reception at Trinity House, Trinity Square, London EC3.

KENSINGTON PALACE

April 9th

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Peace and Prosperity Trust, this morning received Mr Rajai Khouri (Chairman).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Worshipful Company of Pattenmakers, this afternoon received Mr Patrick Tyrrell upon relinquishing his appointment as Master and Mr Keith Bottomley upon assuming the appointment.

Ms Claire Hobson (Clerk) was present.
