Fielders’ Kippers
Fielders have been remembering their Thelwellian ponies, prompted by the Chief Sub-editor’s stories of Starlight in the June issue. “Toffee was so round my little legs used to stick out sideways,” recalled one. “First trip out, Pippin shook his head, I fell straight off into a puddle,” shared another. “Pikelet (pictured) ended up in our neighbour’s pool. He swam up and down, then climbed out using their Roman steps. He was the cleanest he has ever been.”
