Grouse Race
The Field’s Deputy Editor took part in the Gleneagle’s Grouse Race on the Twelfth and shot her first brace of grouse (a right-and-left) with a Holland & Holland borrowed specially for the occasion. The team, including Olympic gold medallist Peter Wilson, harvested 36 brace on the walked-up day, some of which were dispatched to London by helicopter for a special grouse supper.
