It’s the time of year when we put the wet­suits away and get the welling­ton boots out. A great tip I was given last year was to wash the wet­suits in the wash­ing ma­chine on a cool, 30-de­gree wash with a low spin of 400, then to put them on hang­ers and al­low to air dry, ide­ally in the au­tumn sun­shine. this en­sures they are com­pletely salt and sand free – plus they def­i­nitely smell fresher.
