ALEXANDER SET TO ACT

-

GRAHAM Alexander will begin shaping his own squad when the January transfer window opens.

Having replaced Micky Mellon as Fleetwood Town manager at the beginning of December, the former Preston and Burnley full-back is ready to tweak his ranks in the New Year.

“I’ve been evaluating every day, every training session and every game,” he said.

“There is the fulcrum of a very good squad here. I think we probably need a couple of additions but not many.

“I think we have an abundance of players in certain positions which we probably don’t need.”
