WINGER Craig Noone says any talk of promotion is banned at Cardiff with the Welsh side having lost out in play-offs in each of the last three seasons.

Cardiff spent Christmas at the top of the table and would break a five-year league tradition if they didn’t now go on to win promotion but Noone, who arrived from Brighton in August, is paying no attention to recent history.

“I won’t be mentioning it. We’ll just be taking it game by game,” he said.

“I think we’ve got our heads screwed on.

“We know what we want and that’s just to keep going, take it game by game and keep getting the results.”
