TERRY’S THE TOAST OF DONNY
TERRY BRAMALL, one of Doncaster Rovers’ owners, has joined the mass of Olympic and Paralympic heroes in being recognised in the Queen’s New Years’ Honours List.
Bramall has been awarded a CBE for his philanthropy, having established a charitable trust, with a gross donation of £96m.
Former Ipswich chairman David Sheepshanks is also celebrating.
Sheepshanks, who was in charge at Portman Road for 13 years from 1995, has also been appointed a CBE for services to football and charities in Suffolk.
He is now the chairman of the National Football Centre.
