DICKOV KEY FOR ROBINSON

-

THEO ROBINSON admits the influence of Paul Dickov was the deciding factor in his decision to swap Derby for Doncaster.

The 24-year-old striker scored 20 goals in 80 appearances for the Rams but spent the latter half of last season on loan at Huddersfield.

And after penning a twoyear-deal at the Keepmoat Stadium, Robinson claims Donny boss Dickov can get the best out of him.

“I feel very excited to be here,” he said.“The manager was keen to sign me and it’s nice when the manager backs you, so I was more than happy to come in.

“I’ve played in Doncaster before; I scored here a couple of years ago.

“I have also been told, by players that have been here previously, that it is a good club – it’s a great opportunity for me.”
