BLOOMFIELD BACK AFTER NIGHTMARE

WYCOMBE WANDERERS fan favourite Matt Bloomfield has returned to action after almost a year out through injury.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who suffered a groin injury against Gillingham, admitted the road to recovery was not an easy one.

“It has been terrible. I knew if I wanted to play again I would have to work incredibly hard,” said Bloomfield.

“I know personally that I could not have done more to get back.”
