MANDARIC READY TO SELL OWLS

-

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY chairman Milan Mandaric is ready to sell the club and is in ongoing talks with interested parties.

The 74-year-old Serbian businessman, who has had sole charge of the Owls since December 2010, said in a statement that he wishes to spend more time with his family and focus on other business pursuits.

His statement did not name potential buyers, but he insisted he would only do what was best for the club.

He said:“There is nothing happening at the moment apart from interest and, until that changes, I ask everyone to stick together as the one Sheffield Wednesday family.”
