DOYLE STILL ON PAYROLL

WOLVES boss Kenny Jackett admits the club are no nearer shifting Kevin Doyle from the wage bill.

The Republic of Ireland international, reportedly on £40,000-a-week, has been linked with moves, but Jackett claims he’s in the dark.

“There is still a week to go until the madness that is the last couple of days of the transfer window, but so far it has been very quiet for Kevin,” said Jackett.
