SHERIDAN LOOKING AT THE TOP
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE boss John Sheridan is tipping his players to earn promotion to League One in his first full season as manager – despite finishing one point from relegation last term.
Plymouth claimed their first points of the season last week in a 3-1 win over Cheltenham Town.
And after a difficult season last year Sheridan has his sights set on the top end of the table rather than the bottom two.
“I don’t want to talk about relegation, I want to talk about play-offs and promotion,” he said.
“If that puts pressure on me then so be it. I’ve got to get that into the players.”
