HEATON’S A HAPPY KEEPER

TOM HEATON was a busy man last season as Bristol City’s last line of defence.

But after joining Burnley in the summer the 27-yearold keeper says he’s seen a marked difference in commitment from the Clarets defence.

“Last season was tough in terms of conceding a lot of goals,” said Heaton, whose Bristol City side let in 86 league goals last term.

“The difference between that and this season has been great – people heading, tackling, diving in front of the ball before it gets to me has been fantastic.”
