WAGSTAFF WOE FOR ROBINS

-

SCOTT Wagstaff will face up to six weeks on the sidelines but Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill admits he’s lucky it’s not longer. Wagstaff picked up a shoulder injury during Tuesday night’s loss to Coventry.

But while Cotterill has confirmed that Wagstaff will not require surgery, he does concede his absence is a big loss to the team.

“Scott took an awful fall, popped his shoulder joint and is probably going to be out for six weeks,” said Cotterill.

“The big news is that he won’t need an operation because, if he had, that would have been it for the rest of the season.”
