COLE GETS CHANCE TO BE THE No1

-

PLYMOUTH boss John Sheridan won’t belooking for a new keeper in the loan window but has instead backed Jake Cole to step in for the injured Luke McCormick.

McCormick has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken and dislocated finger but Sheridan has faith in 28year-old Cole.

“It gives Jake an opportunity,” said Sheridan.“That’s the good thing about it.

“I have two very good keepers and now Jake’s got a chance to step in, and hopefully, he’ll perform like he did at the end of last season, when I first came into the club. I’ve got full confidence he’ll do that.”
