JOSH SIGNS ON WITH U’S

JOSH Ashby may have excelled in the Youth Cup this term and the talented 17year-old has been tipped to star for Oxford’s first team in the not-so-distant future.

Ashby scored in every round of the U’s run to the fourth round and youth team boss Chris Allen has high hopes after he penned a three-year deal.

“Josh fully deserves his chance. He listens to advice, works hard at his game and has been outstanding,” said Allen. “We think he has a very bright future with the club.”
