BENTLEY KEEPS ON BATTLING
MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley has embraced the club’s battle against relegation, despite the toll it is taking on his family life.
Bentley’s troops had a three-point cushion ahead of yesterday’s penultimate games of the season and, while not ideal, he insists the experience has added to his character.
“It takes over your whole life,” he said.
“You wake up thinking about results and the family don’t get as much attention, but you’ve got to keep battling through.
“You can’t feel sorry for yourself, you’ve got to get on and do the best job you can, keep your head down and keep working hard.”
