MATTHEW SMITH – READING
A TYPICAL game of two halves. Our season was over at half-time but thankfully the team came out and put in a superb 45 minutes when it mattered most.
It’s been a roller coaster season in which is probably the worst standard the championship has seen. I feel for Nigel Adkins, he’s had no support and with the club ownership still in turmoil he’s done fairly well.
At the moment I’d give him a seven out of ten. That could change into ten out of ten come May though – and we’re all hoping for that.
