OLIVER’S A FAN OF WELLS

- By Isaac William

HUDDERSFIELD midfielder Oliver Norwood says Nahki Wells has been worth every penny of his record-breaking transfer fee – but not only for his goals.

Prior to this weekend, Wells, who cost a club record £1.3million when he signed from Bradford in January, had notched seven goals for the Terriers, but for Norwood he offers much more.

“He’s been a great signing for the club and there’s more to come,” said Norwood.

“Nahki’s workrate and the way he creates chances is first class.

“Playing up front on your own isn’t easy, and it’s an unfamiliar role for him.

“He’s got his back to goal a lot of the time and yet he still manages to score.”
