KASPER’S KEEN ON NEW DEAL
LEICESTER City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has given the Championship title winners a massive boost after revealing he wants to stay at the club.
Schmeichel, 27, is out of contract this summer and has been attracting interest from Arsenal, Southampton, AC Milan and Olympiakos.
The former Leeds keeper was instrumental in the Foxes charge back to the Premier League but was kept waiting over a new deal.
He said:“It’s up to the club at the moment. We’ve had some preliminary conversations.
“Of course I want to stay. We’ve got to the Premier League and I’m happy here, but it’s not up to me.”
