THE GULLS WAVE BYE TO KEVIN

-

LONG-SERVING Torquay fullback Kevin Nicholson has no regrets after being released from the club.

The 33-year-old joined Torquay from Forest Green Rovers in 2007 and went on to make 312 appearances for United.

“I leave with no regrets, having had a great seven years,” said Nicholson.“I genuinely hope Greavsy (boss Chris Hargreaves) gets things sorted and the club going the right way again.”

And Hargreaves paid tribute to the departing veteran who he let go with a heavy heart. “It wasn’t a decision I took lightly,” said Hargreaves. “Kev’s a friend and has been a magnificent servant to the club.”
