CHRIS IS SO GRATEFUL TO SHRIMPS

CHRIS McCREADY holds no grudge with Morecambe after seeing his stint with the Shrimps come to an end.

McCready was released by manager Jim Bentley and the defender insists he has enjoyed every minute of his time with the club.

“Playing at Morecambe has been one of the highlights of my career. From the moment I signed to the moment I left, I’ve enjoyed it so much,” he said.

“The fans have been wonderful to me and I’ve tried to repay them with my performances and professionalism. I’d like to thank them, it’s been an honour to wear the shirt.

“The lads are the best I’ve ever worked with.”
