BURNLEY ..............0 MAN UNITED ........0

NEW signing Angel Di Maria failed to inspire Manchester United who were held by Burnley.

The Premier League newcomers fully deserved their point and saw David Jones strike the bar with an early free-kick.

Di Maria showed touches of class before going off with cramp 20 minutes before the end, but United are still searching for their first win of the season. MAME Biram Diouf’s fine solo effort for Stoke stunned champions Manchester City.
